Hi there - great show, as always. Just a few comments:

Vampire reflection lore: You mentioned how in all vampire lore to date, vamps never have reflections. Moonlight is one of the first shows I've seen to discount the reflection myth, and it bugged me at first, but I'm starting to get used to it. I don't know if it has been specifically addressed in Supernatural's mythology before though.

Second, the barbed-wire beheading of Gordon. Did anyone else recall the scene from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" in Season 7 when she beheads the uber-vamp in the same fashion? It started to indeed make me wonder if Sam had some super-strength or something.

Anyway, just some thoughts!

Keep up the great work!

On the question of whether Sam got Gordon's blood on his hands, he did have a cloth around the wire. The wire cut through the thick cloth and cut his hands a bit but I think he was safe from Gordon's blood. And the fact that he had the strength to cut through Gordon's spine was pretty unrealistic.

On the matter of "Evil Gordon" I think he did have control of his actions, he just gave in to the monster that he had become. Which seemed really weak to me, especially since he had spent his whole hunting career despising the vampires that gave in to their instincts. I think that was a poor excuse to use his powers.

Also, you referenced Krys and I as "Kristen and Annie."

Overall, great episode, great discussion! :)

I'm still having problems listening to the giggly, pajama party recap.
The last few podcasts I've forwarded through them because they're just too sophomoric.
This is not meant to be a personal dig at the girls who are recapping. I'm sure they're very nice people.

But as far as a recap goes, their style just turns me off completely.

Shelaghc, what would you suggest to help us make our recap section better? We really love doing them, we look forward to it after every episode. Is it just some people you don't like hearing? We would enjoy some constructive criticism. Email me at kborash@gmail.com if you have any suggestions.

It's really cool to see a Supernatural podcast. I've just started getting into this show because the writer's strike has shut down the other shows I love. So I've been catching up on seasons 1, 2 and 3. Supernatural is an excellent show.

I enjoy the podcast!
